Fossil Creek

We took the day to go to Fossil Creek, got stuck on the I-17 because of an accident so that wasted almost 2 hours of daylight, then after 15 miles of harsh dirt road we finally got to the parking lot, unfortunately the parking lot was a bit further from the main trail than we expected. Once on the main trail we had some nice tree cover and came across some areas to sit and rest, did a little swimming and had a snack before continuing up the rest of the trail. 

The waterfall was beautiful, water was a little chilly but still nice to get into and swim a little. Well worth the drive, though next time I wil get parking lot 1 or 2 and not 5. Overall ended up being just over 7 miles round trip.
